It looks like Marvel will be kicking of 2015 in style, as a new trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron has been confirmed as being on the way. We know when we’ll see it too, as an advert shown on American TV tonight during the halftime of the Rose Bowl (no, we’re not sure what that is either) revealed the time and date!

The preview will air on January 12th during the College Football National Championship game on ESPN, which starts at 8.30pm EST. That’s roughly 1.30am UK time, and it’s expected to debut only shortly after.

It should contain plenty of new footage from the highly anticipated sequel, as fans are eager to see more of the new additions to the cast, particularly The Vision (new promo art featuring him can be found here). Regardless, be sure to stay tuned to HeyUGuys on the 12th as we’ll have it for you the second it goes live!

In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, but things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

The movie stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, James Spader, and Samuel L. Jackson and hits May 1st, 2015. However, it should reach the UK sometime in April!
