It was recently revealed that the new trailer for Deadpool will premiere on Christmas Day, but we’re going to be treated to twelve days of goodies from the Merc with the Mouth before then. In yet another genius marketing stunt by 20th Century Fox, something new from the movie is going to be released each day before we get our next look at the R-Rated flick.
Ryan Reynolds is clearly embracing the character, but whether all of this will pay off remains to be seen. Deadpool’s R-Rating means it has a lower budget, but if audiences don’t fancy the look of this movie, it’s going to bring the potential new franchise to an end very quickly!
Of course, with Kingsman: The Secret Service vastly overperforming at the box office this year, moviegoers clearly have an interest in more adult orientated comic book adaptations, while the fact that Deadpool is a superhero has to give his movie a chance of succeeding!
