The deal between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures to allow Spider-Man to appear in the former’s Cinematic Universe was historic, and it’s again got us thinking about other possible crossovers which could and should happen over the next few years. Some are more likely than others, but all have a chance of happening.
Movie studios are beginning to see the benefits which come with creating their own cinematic universes; Universal are doing it for their monster movies and Sony are looking to create a world for the Ghostbusters which will span both multiple franchises on the big and small screen. That’s why some of the choices below are with properties held by the same studio which we think would work perfectly if put together in a movie!

10. 24/Die Hard
24: Live Another Day redeemed the final few unsatisfying seasons of the series last year, but it ended on yet another cliffhanger. Since then, there’s been no solid word another run of episodes, but there were rumblings of a movie for a time. Who better to save Jack Bauer from his current predicament than John McClane?
Fox are responsible for the Die Hard movies, so this crossover would be easy to make a reality, and there’s something very exciting about the thought of Bauer and McClane fighting side by side. Based on the reception A Good Day to Die Hard received in 2013, bringing Bruce Willis to the small screen alongside Kiefer Sutherland might work better than a big screen team-up, but it would be awesome either way.
