Movie Bloggers Top Ten – Mad Max: Fury Road Voted Best Film of 2015 by Online Community

As has become standard practice for us over the last couple years, a little over two weeks ago we asked the great and good of the online film community to send in their lists for the top 10 UK releases of 2015.

The response was phenomenal; this year we got 128 entries – more than any amount we’ve had in the past – and over 100 different films were selected. Ultimately though, it was Mad Max: Fury Road which was chosen more than any other film, garnering a massive 84 votes.

While on the face of it that result may appear predictable, in reality it was anything but. Incredibly, there is only 1 VOTE separating Mad Max: Fury Road and Whiplash – the eventual runner-up – and the lead switched films repeatedly as the votes were being tallied. Also notable is the rank of a little known film called Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, which takes the number 4 spot despite only being released last week.
