It was a busy evening yesterday in Central London as the arrival of the Orange Overload was tempered with the thrilling red carpet unfurling for one of the biggest films of the year. Mission Impossible Fallout is the sixth big screen MI film, and it has drawn rave reviews. It is one of the rare instances of a film series growing in scale and confidence over the years and much of that is down to the stewardship of Tom Cruise in the leading role.

Cruise returns with his high tech gadgets and death-defying stunts for Mission Impossible Fallout, which sees Tom Cruise reunite with director Christopher McQuarrie for the sixth outing of the series which also stars Superman Henry Cavill (and his moustache), Shaun of the Dead’s Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris, Angela Bassett, The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin, Wes Bentley and Frederick Schmidt.

Mission: Impossible Fallout is released in the UK on the 26th of July. Colin Hart and Scott Davis were our main operatives on hand last night, Here are their interviews from the red carpet.
