To celebrate StudioCanal’s release of All or Nothing and Vera Drake on Blu-ray, Mike Leigh is interviewed by Greg Wetherall about his films, and the BFI Retrospective seaon running this month.

All or Nothing stars Timothy Spall, Lesley Manville, Ruth Sheen and Marion Bailey. Vera Drake won awards for its lead Imelda Staunton, who stars alongside Phil Davies, Sally Hawkins, Eddie Marsan and Daniel Mays.

The home entertainment releases will also include exclusive bonus features, with new interviews recorded especially with Leigh and leading cast members on both films, including: Imelda Staunton, Phil Davis, Eddie Marsan, Lesley Manville, Ruth Sheen and James Corden.

The filmmaker talks candidly about how his films have been received over the years, which films he himself rates highly, and finding the human connection at the root of all of his filmed works.

VERA DRAKE and ALL OR NOTHING are out on Blu-ray and Digital from 15th November, 2021.
