The ‘Fast and Furious’ star Michelle Rodriguez and ‘Pokemon Detective Pikachu’s’ Justice Smith have joined the adaptation of ‘Dungeons and Dragons’.

Rodriguez and Smith join the already cast Chris Pine on the cast. All roles are yet to be disclosed.

The film adaptation of the popular fantasy role-playing game has ‘Game Night’ duo Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley at the helm of the feature which they also penned based on a draft by Michael Gilio.

Paramount is co-producing and co-financing the ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ movie with Hasbro and eOne. eOne is distributing the movie in the U.K. and Canada, while Paramount is handling the rollout in the rest of the world. The release date was recently pushed back from November of 2021 to May 27, 2022.

Rodriguez will next be seen in the 9th instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise later this year. Smith was last seen in ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ and ‘Pokemon Detective Pikachu’.
