The spotlight snaps on, the crowd roars, and history begins to moonwalk across the screen. Universal Pictures UK has released a brand-new trailer for ‘Michael,’ a sweeping cinematic portrait of the life and legacy of the legendary Michael Jackson.
‘Michael’ dives deeper than the glittering glove and chart-topping hits. The film traces Jackson’s extraordinary rise from a prodigious child star fronting the Jackson Five to a boundary-shattering global icon whose ambition knew no ceiling.
This isn’t just a greatest-hits reel. It’s a backstage pass into the man behind the myth, exploring both his private world and the creative fire that fueled some of the most iconic performances in music history. From early solo triumphs to the forging of a cultural phenomenon, the film invites audiences to witness where it all truly began.
Leading the charge is Jaafar Jackson, making his feature film debut in the role of his real-life uncle. He’s joined by an ensemble including Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Juliano Krue Valdi, Miles Teller and Colman Domingo. At the helm is Antoine Fuqua, the acclaimed filmmaker behind ‘Training Day’ and ‘The Equalizer.’
