The streets of modern London are humming with danger once again. Apple TV has dropped a pulse-pounding new trailer for the second season of ‘Criminal Record.’

Led by the commanding presence of Peter Capaldi and the razor-sharp intensity of Cush Jumbo, the acclaimed crime thriller returns with a story that feels uncomfortably close to home.

Created by BAFTA nominee Paul Rutman, ‘Criminal Record’ thrives on tension that simmers beneath every conversation. Season two wastes no time striking a match.

When a young man is fatally stabbed at a political rally, Detective Sergeant June Lenker and Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Hegarty find themselves reluctantly reunited. Their uneasy alliance begins as a straightforward murder investigation, but quickly spirals into something far more explosive.

What starts as a hunt for a killer morphs into a covert operation to stop a far-right bomb plot brewing in the heart of London. The stakes climb, the lines blur, and trust becomes the most dangerous currency of all.

Season two sees the return of Capaldi as the enigmatic Hegarty and Jumbo as the principled Lenker, their dynamic once again at the core of the drama.

Joining them is a strong ensemble cast including Dustin Demri-Burns, Luca Pasqualino, Luther Ford, Lyndsey Marshal and Peter Sullivan. They join returning cast members Shaun Dooley, Stephen Campbell Moore and Charlie Creed-Miles. Behind the camera, directors Ben A. Williams and Joelle Mae David.
