This evening the labyrinths of central London opened up to allow the cast and crew of The Maze Runner: The Death Cure to walk the red carpet at the Vue West End Leicester Square for a special screening of the film.

The film stars Dylan O’Brien, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Rosa Salazar, Kaya Scodelario, Katherine McNamara, Walton Goggins, Aidan Gillen, Will Poulter, Giancarlo Eposito and Nathalie Emmanuel. It is directed by Wes Ball from The Maze Runner YA series written by James Dashner.

The cast talk about their time working together over the five years of The Maze Runner film production, Dylan O’Brien talks about working with director Wes Ball and wanting to direct his own films. Kaya Scodelario teases us a little on her role in Pirates of the Caribbean 6 (she wants to play Barbossa – who doesn’t?) and Thomas Brodie Sangster talks about leaving his character behind and how he bonded with the cast and their characters.

The Maze Runner: The Death Cure Synopsis

In the epic finale to The Maze Runner Saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary last city, a WCKD controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get the answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze. Will Thomas and the crew make it out alive? Or will Ava Paige get her way?
