To celebrate the long-awaited return of the legendary Mary Poppins in the aptly named Mary Poppins Returns, we sat down with stars Emily Mortimer and Ben Whishaw to discuss the eagerly anticipated film.
In the sequel/quasi-reboot, Mortimer and Whishaw play the grown up Jane and Michael Banks whose lives since Mary Poppins’ departure have taken a sad turn. We discussed the new arc of the siblings, return to London during the depression Era and the perfect casting of Emily Blunt as Mary. And, as an added bonus, our shared love of Bedknobs and Broomsticks!
