With the fallout of the Edward Norton/Marvel nonsense from earlier this week one question still remained – who would Marvel hire to play Bruce Banner and his not-so-jolly green giant alter ego, the Hulk?
News from Deadline puts the name of Mark Ruffalo in the ring and this is bound to get people talking as Ruffalo seems like a great fit physically but he’s a pretty decent actor as well, I enjoyed him a lot in Zodiac, The Brothers Bloom and Shutter Island.
Ruffalo would become the third incarnation of Bruce Banner in the last decade and given the debacle between Norton and Marvel he’ll step into some pretty big (and soiled) shoes for the Avengers movie.
More news, hopefully some sort of confirmation, as it breaks.
