Lyndsy Fonseca, in an interview with MTV, claims that a sequel to Matthew Vaughn’s much-loved Kick-Ass is a long way off.
Fonseca was quoted as saying:
“It’s going to be a while if it does happen […] Everyone’s kind of working on other things, and there needs to be more issues of the comic before there’s material to do another movie. So wait and see.”
And, if she’s to believed, then it’s not particulary good news. Seeing as most of the actors and actresses involved all seem to be busy in their individual careers, and with Matthew Vaughn currently involved in the production of X-Men: First Class, it’s unlikely Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall will hit our screens for a few years yet.
