Nestled discreetly in the midst of the bombast of the BAFTA and Oscar hulabaloo the London Critics’ Circle Film Award tend to represent the film connoisseur’s choice. This evening was no different as the body made some very sound, and utterly correct, choices from the last year in film.

Winners including Timothy Spall, snubbed by Academys on both sides of the pond, for his portrayal of the artist in Mr. Turner. Jonathan Glazer’s Under the Skin took home the Best British Film gong, Boyhood won Best Film… you can see where I’m going here.

Our finest men, Mr. Cassam Looch and Mr. Colin Hart was resplendent on the red carpet this evening to talk to the nominees, guest and winners as they arrived at the event. Here’s how they got on.
