The amazing first teaser trailer all but confirmed that we’ll see X-23 in Logan, but now a new official image from the movie confirms that the young Dafne Keen is indeed playing “Laura.”
Those of you who read the comic books will know that X-23 is also known as Laura Kinney, and between this and the fact that we saw Wolverine fending off someone with the character’s two claws in that trailer, we now know for sure that this is who Keen is playing.
A clone of Logan, X-23 grew up to serve as a member of both the X-Men and X-Force, but what her role will be in this universe remains to be seen. Assuming she does reappear somewhere down the line, it will probably be with an older actress in the role as Laura was in her late teens/early twenties when she becomes a fully fledged superhero in the comics.
