Lisa Cholodenko (Laurel Canyon) has been tapped to helm November Criminals, The Wrap has reported.
Cholodenko, who last helmed the Academy Award winning The Kids Are All Right, will direct from a script penned by Steve Knight (Eastern Promises).
November Criminals centres on a student whose lead to explore the underbelly of a Washington society in order to unmask the mystery surrounding the death of a fellow student.
The project is currently set up at Indian Paintbrush, who’ve had a number of successes recently, including Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom and Jason Reitman’s Up in the Air.
