Good news for those of us outside the US. Screen are reporting that Focus Features International have obtained distribution rights for Kick-Ass in the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Latin America, while sister company Universal Pictures International will be releasing the film in New Zealand.
Although there is no release date set, Screen point to April as the debut date, at least for New Zealand. This would make sense, as the US release is due 16th April. We have contacted Universal for confirmation, but for now we’re assuming it’ll get a day-and-date release.
