‘Bridgerton’ actor, Jonathan Bailey is said to be in early talks to join the ever-growing cast of the next instalment in the ‘Jurassic World’ franchise.

Bailey would join Scarlett Johannsson in a leading role in the project. Gareth Edwards is set to take the helm. David Koepp has penned the script.

According to sources, the upcoming sequel is expected to introduce a new storyline to the franchise, which has been around for thirty years. It remains uncertain whether any of the previous actors, such as Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, or Jeff Goldblum, will be making a comeback.

The movie has a planned release for July 2025. Steven Spielberg will serve as an executive producer through Amblin Entertainment. Frank Marshall, Patrick Crowley, David Leitch, and Kelly McCormick will produce through 87North.

Bailey, who also starred in ‘Broadchurch’ and Showtime limited series ‘Fellow Travellers’ is set to play prince Fiyero in Universal’s two-film adaptation of the musical ‘Wicked’.
