John Goodman and Billy Crystal have taken up the mantel to reprise their roles as Sully and Mike Wazowski in the ‘Monsters Inc’ series ‘Monsters at Work’.

The spin-off series will air on the new Disney+ streaming service and will follow on six months after the original movie with the power plant at its centre now harvesting the laughter of children to fuel the city of Monstropolis.

The series will follow Tylor Tuskmon (Ben Feldman), an eager and talented mechanic on the Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team who dreams of working on the Laugh Floor alongside Mike and Sully.

Fellow cast members that are also returning to their voice characters are John Ratzenberger as Yeti, Jennifer Tilly as Celia, and Bob Peterson as Roz.

Also in news – ‘Shazam’ to get a sequel; ‘Black Adam’ also makes a move.

The newest members to join the ‘Monsters Inc’ assemble are Ben Feldman, Kelly Marie Tran as Tylor’s lifelong friend, Henry Winkler as a scatterbrained boss, Lucas Neff as an opportunistic plumber, Alanna Ubach as a rule follower, Stephen Stanton will voice the bumbling custodial team, and Aisha Tyler is Tylor’s mom.

Released in 2002, ‘Monsters Inc’ followed the Monsters Incorporated, the largest scare factory in the monster world, and James P. Sullivan (John Goodman) is one of its top scarers. Sullivan is a huge, intimidating monster with blue fur, large purple spots and horns. His scare assistant, best friend and roommate is Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal), a green, opinionated, feisty little one-eyed monster. Visiting from the human world is Boo (Mary Gibbs), a tiny girl who goes where no human has ever gone before, but the scary monsters took the little girl into their hearts and ended up having to save her from an evil villain.
