So I’ve been following the updates from my favourite producer very closely over the past week as he’s been tweeting some nice new images from the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides as they film in England. They’ve been at Pinewood Studios over the past couple of weeks and his most recent tweet sounds rather interesting and hopefully won’t lead to any delays.

On PIRATES set in Greenwich UK for past few days. Horses, carriages, hundreds of extras and mud. Lots of mud. Caused by lots of rain.

Last night, Jerry tweeted another image from the set of the move with the following message:

Camera operator Martin Schaer lines up shot at Captain’s Daughter pub w/ director of photography Dariusz Wolsk.

I love these candid shots that he’s updating and this is one reason why I love Twitter so much. Instant access to things that we’d never have gotten to see before, even if it is just the team that make the movies lining shots up, I love it so much!

The fourth installment of Disney / Jerry Bruckheimer’s Pirates of the Caribbean stars Johnny Depp, Ian McShane, Penelope Cruz, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Sam Claflin, Stephen Graham, Yuki Matsuzaki and Gemma Ward.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is released May 2011, and is directed by Rob Marshall.
