As well as being one of the biggest and best movie producers in the world, Jerry Bruckheimer is very much a keen photographer. If you look at photos of him on set, you’ll often see his trusty SLR attached to him (like in this image to the left from Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time). I’d absolutely love to see some of the other photos he’s taken from his previous movies!
Bruckheimer has teased us today by posting up a photo he took from the set of his new Disney / JB Films movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides on Twitter which features everyone’s favourite pirate – Captain Jack Sparrow played so excellently by Johnny Depp.
The fourth movie in the ‘Pirates’ franchise also stars Geoffrey Rush, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, Kevin McNally, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Sam Claflin, Stephen Graham, Yuki Matsuzaki and Gemma Ward.
Filming of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is currently taking place in Hawaii and Bruckheimer is back there after a somewhat disappointing opening weekend in the US for his latest movie, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice which opens in the UK August 19th.
