Wes Anderson’s new film Isle of Dogs has been creating quite a buzz and to celebrate its imminent release there’s an exhibition of some of the sets and character models from the film at 180 The Strand in London.
With a high calibre cast including the likes of Bryan Cranston, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Edward Norton, Greta Gerwig and Frances McDormand it’s certainly not lacking in talent and with Wes Anderson’s distinctive style it’s bound to make an impression on the box office with its release this Friday.
The exhibition features a number of sets and characters and what impresses first is the eye for detail (check out Dr Watanabe’s nametag for example!) and that level of detail is present for each character and every set.
Anyway, rather than reading me going on about it get down to The Spaces at 180 The Strand in London before the exhibition closes on 5th April or, if you can’t do that, take a look at my pictures below to get a taste of it. Talking about taste it has a real noodle bar on site for the benefit of the peckish! Awesome!
