Having starred in a variety of big Hollywood productions, Australian actress Mia Wasikowska has now returned to her homeland, to bring the incredible true story of Robyn Davidson to the big screen, in John Curran’s Tracks.
We had the pleasure of sitting down with Wasikowska to discuss the role, of a woman who embarked on a trek across the Australian deserts, with just her loyal dog and a few camels. The actress discusses her own personal training with the animals, whether the shoot was as physically demanding as it appears – and her own enjoyment being back on home soil to make a movie.
