To mark the release of yet another cinema franchise built around a popular series of ‘young adult’ novels, we spoke to talented young actress Kaya Scodelario, who plays the one and only female character in Wes Ball’s The Maze Runner.
We discussed her move from TV into film (having made a name for herself on Skins), while also puzzling her on the incredible generation of actors to have come from that show, as she joins the likes of Jack O’Connell, Dev Patel and Nicholas Hoult, in forming triumphant careers on the big screen.
