Stefan Pape from HeyUGuys interviews Director Jon Favreau, the captain of the ship who set out to create a spectacular retelling of ‘The Jungle Book’ based on the book by Rudyard Kipling. It’s fair to say alongside a team of computer geniuses and a group of wonderful actors, he did just that (our 4* review here).

In the interview they discuss working with the original source material as well as the 1967 animated version of The Jungle Book, just how the CG was made possible with companies like MPC in London and how he responds to reviews vs. the fans.

The Jungle Book stars Sir ben Kingsley, Bill Murray, Christopher Walken, Giancarlo Esposito, Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o and Neel Sethi as Mowgli.

The Jungle Book is in cinemas this Friday 15th April – it’s one you MUST see!

The man-cub Mowgli flees the jungle after a threat from the tiger Shere Khan. Guided by Bagheera the panther and the bear Baloo, Mowgli embarks on a journey of self-discovery, though he also meets creatures who don’t have his best interests at heart.
