Having caught up with actor James McAvoy, and author Irvine Welsh, it’s safe to say this HeyUGuys have been chatting a lot of Filth this week – and luckily for all of you, we haven’t stopped there, this time discussing the riotous and deranged black comedy with its director Jon S. Baird.
The filmmaker tells us exactly what has changed from the book, the process of adapting it to film – and finding a strong balance between the comedy and the intrinsic darkness that exists, labelling it as a ‘dark fairytale’.
