When walking into Bill Bailey’s office to conduct an interview with him about his latest tour and live show DVD, Qualmpeddler, it was comforting to see that this unique and quirky comedian remains faithful to his persona, with an office that had strange looking cats wondering around, random skulls, and a stuffed owl. It set the scene nicely, as we sat down with Bailey to discuss all things comedy.
We asked him where the name came from (“someone who peddles qualms”), what he learnt – and then implemented into his routine – from his time spent in South East Asia, and he discussed the friendly rivalry amongst comedians during this time of year, where the majority all bring out their own, respective DVDs (check out our low-down here, by the way).
