Oscar-Isaac-in-Inside-Llewyn-DavisThe Coen brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis is pretty much guaranteed to be one of the best films of the year, with an absolutely stellar cast, and universally positive reviews coming out of Cannes – you can read our five-star review here.

We’ve already seen two fantastic first trailers for the film, which is set to be released in the US in early December, in perfect position for an Oscar campaign. And now CBS have debuted a new trailer, via Apple, and two new images, giving us another great look at the anticipated drama.

INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS follows a week in the life of a young folk singer as he navigates the Greenwich Village folk scene of 1961. Guitar in tow, huddled against the unforgiving New York winter, he is struggling to make it as a musician against seemingly insurmountable obstacles—some of them of his own making.

Oscar Isaac leads an all-star cast as the eponymous Llewyn Davis, starring alongside Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, Garrett Hedlund, and Adam Driver.

Joel and Ethan Coen are directing from their own script, loosely basing the film on Dave Van Ronk’s memoir, The Mayor of MacDougal Street.

Inside Llewyn Davis will be released in the US on December 6th, with its UK release date arriving early next year on 24th January. Whilst we count down the months to its arrival, here’s the excellent new trailer.
