We caught a new red-band trailer last night, and joining it is an IMAX poster that confirms it will be arriving on the biggest screen possible when it lands in the New Year.
“15 years after their traumatic gingerbread-house incident, siblings Hansel and Gretel have become a formidable team of bounty hunters who track and kill witches all over the world.”
Norwegian director Tommy Wirkola is making his English language debut at the helm, co-writing the script with Dante Harper (the upcoming All You Need Is Kill), with Famke Janssen, Peter Stormare, Thomas Mann, and Zoe Bell completing the cast.
Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters will be released in 3D and IMAX 3D in the US on 25th January, 2013, before coming to the UK a little later on 15th March. It’s promising to be a big tentpole for Paramount in the New Year, and this IMAX poster and last night’s trailer cement the epic scale of the film for the big screen. For now, here’s the new poster, which you can click to enlarge.
