Chung will be stepping in to play Miho, the katana-wielding assassin first played by Devon Aoki in the original, who plays a key role in locating the femme fatale, Ava.

Clive Owen, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Michael Madsen, and Mickey Rourke are all set to reprise their roles from the original film, with Rodriguez and Miller co-writing and -directing.
