Netflix has debuted two first-look images of the upcoming feature ‘Luther.’
Elba reprises his role of Detective Chief Inspector John Luther in the film, which will mark a return to a character that he last played in the show’s fifth season in early 2019.
Andy Serkis and Cynthia Erivo will co-star in the film, with Dermot Crowley returning as DSU Martin Schenk. The film is penned by Cross, directed by Jamie Payne and shot in London and Brussels.
It will be a continuation of the Luther saga, Luther will have to contend with a double threat. Erivo plays a detective who is also Luther’s nemesis while Serkis is the story’s criminal villain.
