Disney has unveiled the first teaser trailer for ‘Ice Age: Boiling Point,’ the next big-screen adventure in the beloved animated franchise, bringing back the iconic herd for an explosive journey through the prehistoric world.
The newly released teaser offers fans a glimpse at the latest chapter in the long-running series as Manny, Diego, Sid, Ellie and Buck find themselves launched out of a volcano and into one of their most dangerous adventures yet. Packed with dinosaurs, rivers of lava and the franchise’s trademark slapstick humour, the film promises to take audiences deeper into the mysterious Lost World than ever before.
Returning for the new adventure are fan-favourite characters Manny (voiced by Ray Romano), Diego (voiced by Denis Leary), Sid (voiced by John Leguizamo), Buck (voiced by Simon Pegg) and Ellie (voiced by Queen Latifah). They are joined by Crash, Eddie, Baby Scrat and, of course, the ever-unlucky acorn-chasing Scrat, whose chaotic antics appear to once again spark prehistoric mayhem.
‘Ice Age: Boiling Point’ is directed by John Donkin, who previously helmed ‘The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild,’ and is produced by franchise veteran Lori Forte, whose credits include the original ‘Ice Age’ and ‘Ice Age: Collision Course.’
