It’s been rumoured for years but as yet, we’ve not seen anything materialise for the prequel / sequel to the 2007 movie, I am Legend that starred Will Smith…. until now that is!
Deadline have just released information that Warner Bros. are planning another movie that ‘is not being called a prequel’. If you’ve not seen the original movie, I won’t spoil it but a sequel is going to be a hard task to master with how the movie ended. According to the site, Will Smith is back for more action as scientist Robert Neville, the man who does his best to find a cure to the plague that caused humanity to die off.
It really is a great movie and came a few years after the British take on the end of the world, 28 Days Later which starred Cillian Murphy.
More as we get it but who’s up for more I Am Legend action? I am…. time to put on 28 Weeks Later!
