This is some sort of genius, as the career renaissance of Rutger Hauer continues with a role in Dario Argento’s forthcoming stereoscopic 3D adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
Soon to be seen in the Grindhouse inspired Hobo with a Shotgun, Dracula 3D has gained itself a valuable cast member in Hauer, who seems perfectly suited to the role of grizzled vampire hunter Van Helsing.
Argento’s film is set to begin shooting in May and this piece of casting is sure to inspire interest in the project, which has got to be better than the Hugh Jackman nonsense of a few years ago.
