Following on from yesterday’s interview with Jason Biggs and Laura Prepon we get to hear from two more stars from the hit show Orange is the New Black ahead of Season 2 which lands back on Netflix systems across the globe (where available) this Friday 6th June complete with all 13 episodes! Today it’s the turn of Taylor Schilling and Danielle Brooks who play Piper Chapman and Tasha ‘Taystee’ Jefferson respexcively.
In the interview (conducted by Joe Cunningham), we get to hear from the two actors on when they realised the show was going to be such a smash hit , what it was like returning for season 2 and how this season will take the audience on a rather different ride to what we’re used to.
We’ve said it before but we’ll say it again, Orange is the New Black is such a fantastic show and it’s well worth getting into if you’ve never seen or heard of it before. It’s based on the real life story of Piper Kerman who wrote the book ‘ Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison’ which has been turned into a show by Jenji Kohan who is praised in pretty much every interview we do for being a genius and we tend to agree!
