Ben Schnetzer and Faye Marsay aren’t exactly household names – yet. With Schnetzer taking centre stage in Pride and starring in the upcoming The Riot Club, he’s a rising star to pay very close attention to. Not least for playing a Northern Irish character when he is very much an American. As for Marsay, you will recognise her as Candice from the latest series of Fresh Meat, as well as playing Anne to Aneurin Barnard’s King Richard III in BBC One’s The White Queen.

We sat down with the pair to hear their thoughts on how social media would aid the LGSM’s efforts in today’s world, the very different ways they got their parts, and what it was like basing their work on real life people and events.

Pride is released in UK cinemas this Friday. Check out our review here.
