To celebrate the release of Fear Below, which is on digital download now and on DVD this month, we sat down with star Hermione Corfield of this terrifying new film to find out more.

It’s gangsters versus bull sharks in the Australian outback of 1946. A team of professional divers in 1940s Australia are hired to locate a sunken car in a river, who soon find their efforts are thwarted by a deadly bull shark hunting in the waters. When the divers discover they are working for ruthless criminals trying to recover their stolen gold bullion, the bank robbers prove to be as treacherous as what lurks beneath the surface.

Chatting to star Corfield (Kingsman: The Secret Service), we chat about the her attraction to the film and why she wanted to film something in the Australian outback, why she was lured back to the water after a few other “aquatic” films in her back catalogue, the terrors of real shark heads, the stamina needed to wear old-fashioned scuba diving equipment and much more inbetween. And a little nugget on her role in Outlander spin-off Blood of My Blood.
