Henry Cavill looks set to make our hearts swoon with a softer side after the ‘Superman’ and ‘The Witcher’ actor has set himself up with the rom-com ‘The Rosie Project.’
The film follows an unlucky-in-love university professor who creates an elaborate questionnaire in an effort to find a wife and meets an unconventional woman who doesn’t match any of his “requirements,” but might be the perfect woman for him.
Steve Falk will write and direct the film while Matt Tolmach and Michael Costigan will produce.
After his stint as the caped crusader in tights, ‘Superman’ Cavill has made sure to keep himself busy, mainly in action movie’s, so this would be a welcome change to see his diverse range after having come to fame in the BBC’s ‘The Tudors’ alongside Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
Cavill’s upcoming projects include Lionsgate’s anticipated ‘Highlander’ reboot, the second season of the Netflix series ‘The Witcher’, Matthew Vaughn’s new spy thriller ‘Argyle’ and he is set to return to the role of Sherlock Holmes in the new season of Netflix series ‘Enola Holmes.’
