Gavin Hood’s thriller Eye in the Sky has its UK release this Friday, two weeks following its debut in the States.
It’s a timely cinematic take on the moral and legal complications of drone warfare and Hood’s film benefits from a great cast lead by Helen Mirren and the late Alan Rickman.
Joel Jagger sat down with Dame Helen Mirren to discuss the film, and inevitably the sad loss of her co-star Alan Rickman came up. She believes this is a film Rickman would have been proud of. Here’s that moment.
