The song from David Hasselhoff and the Sneepers appeared over the closing credits of the latest outing from the misfit heroes. The video features appearances from Chris Pratt, James Gunn, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillian, Zoe Saldana, Michael Rooker and most of the Guardians of the Galaxy cast.
With the release of the sequel just around the corner, the release of the music video and the Bloopers gag reel are a timely reminder why this is a much-loved franchise from the MCU.
James Gunn will return for a third outing of the Guardians franchise to write and direct and has even confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that further scripts are being worked on for future MCU outings that will include our beloved Guardians to ones that we haven’t had the pleasure in meeting yet. Hasselhoff also recently confirmed that Gunn was also considering ideas for a Knight Rider reboot, the 80’s television series which catapulted Hasselhoff to worldwide stardom.
“I’ve given some ideas to James for Knight Rider and he responded in a big way. If it does go forward, I don’t want it to be spoofed like Baywatch or 21 Jump Street. Those films lose what it’s about and you have to respect the fans.”
Take a watch of the music video below to kick start your Monday morning.
