I was lucky enough to see it at the BFI London Film Festival last Friday, and I absolutely loved it. You can read my 5-star review of the film here; I all but guarantee you’re going to love this film too.
A brand new international poster has surfaced over at IMP Awards, and it’s got a great feel to it with the cartoony touches. The quote along the top, translated from (English to) French to English, definitely rings true having seen the film:
“Poignant, Hilarious and Sincere.”
I couldn’t agree more; it is a brilliant film. Along with Gordon-Levitt and Rogen, the film also features fantastic performances from the young Anna Kendrick, who plays Gordon-Levitt’s therapist; Bryce Dallas Howard, who plays the girlfriend we love to hate; and Anjelica Huston, who plays Gordon-Levitt’s emotional wreck of a mother.
Written by Will Reiser, based on the events of his own life, and directed by Jonathan Levine (The Wackness), 50/50 is definitely one of my favourite films of the year, and I can’t wait for it to come out in cinemas on 25th November. A few more weeks, and we’ll all be free to go and see this on the big screen. If you have the chance, then by all means I highly recommend it. It won’t disappoint. Without further ado, here’s the brand new French poster to enjoy. As usual, click to enlarge.
