In the latest episode of Josh Gad’s web series, ‘Reunited Apart’, the cast and crew behind ‘Ghostbusters’ came together for a trip down memory lane.
Gad was joined by Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, Annie Potts and director Ivan Reitman to recall some of their favourite moments from the shoot of the film’s that have now gone on to become classics amongst a generation.
Ivan’s son Jason – who is at the helm of the upcoming sequel ‘Ghosbusters: Afterlife’ – also joined the Zoom alongside Kumail Nanjiani, theme song writer-performer Ray Parker Jr. and several actors who starred in the films.

As well as sharing treasured memories from Murray’s piano sequence to their overexcitement after Reitman screened an early cut of the Slimer ballroom scene at his home, Nanjiani also quizzed the cast to fill in the missing words from some of the most famous lines.
Ray Parker Jr rounded out the session by playing the film’s theme song on electric guitar.
