George Clooney and Adam Sandler have been set to star in Noah Baumbach’s next movie for Netflix which is currently untitled.

The project’s story is said to be a funny and emotional coming-of-age film about adults, but further plot details are yet to be revealed.

The feature marks the first time the A-list movie stars will be working together. Baumbach has an exclusive deal with Netflix having previously directed ‘The Meyerowitz Stories’ (New and Selected), which also starred Sandler, ‘Marriage Story’ and most recently ‘White Noise.’

Baumbach also co-wrote the script with Emily Mortimer. Baumbach, Amy Pascal and David Heyman are producing.

Clooney recently directed ‘Boys in the Boat‘ starring Calum Turner and Joel Edgerton. The film is set to be released this Christmas. He is also set to star opposite his ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ co-star Brad Pitt in the the Apple picture ‘Wolfs,’ which he is also producing.

Sandler’s deal with the streamer has seen him star in ‘Murder Mystery 2’ and ‘You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah’ and the animation ‘Leo.’
