Disney and Pixar have unveiled the first teaser trailer for ‘Gatto,’ an all-new original animated adventure set within the feline-run underworld of Venice, Italy.
Set against the winding canals and historic streets of Venice, ‘Gatto’ follows Nero, a streetwise cat who has spent years navigating the city’s superstitions and hidden corners. However, after a lifetime of survival and questionable choices, Nero begins to wonder if he has lived the right life.
Things become even more complicated when his debt to local feline crime boss Rocco catches up with him. Facing difficult circumstances, Nero is forced into an unexpected friendship that could finally help him discover his true purpose. Of course, in a city as unpredictable as Venice, finding redemption may prove easier said than done.
Take a first look at Nero, a scrappy black cat voiced by the new cast Mark Ruffalo, and Rocco, a ruthless mob boss cat voiced by Laurence Fishburne.
The film reunites the acclaimed creative team behind Pixar’s Oscar-nominated ‘Luca.’ ‘Gatto’ is directed by Enrico Casarosa and produced by Andrea Warren.
