Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for ‘Masterplan,’ the French-Italian Prime Original film starring Academy Award® nominee Stanley Tucci alongside ‘The White Lotus’ breakout Simona Tabasco and Victor Belmondo.
Shot in English and directed by Thomas Vincent (Reacher, Bodyguard, Versailles), ‘Masterplan’ follows a legendary thief who sets his sights on one of the world’s most famous works of art: Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.
But pulling off the heist of the century requires some specialist help. The master thief recruits Chiara, a sharp Italian cybercrime expert, and Jay, a swaggering French explosives specialist. There’s just one rather significant complication: the pair are long-lost siblings.
And things get even more complicated when their mysterious new employer reveals that he is their father.
Suddenly, Chiara and Jay find themselves thrown into the most chaotic family reunion imaginable, with a priceless masterpiece at stake and plenty of unresolved family baggage to contend with. If they want the heist to succeed, they’ll need to learn how to work together without killing each other first.
Tucci leads the cast as the legendary thief, with Tabasco and Belmondo playing the unlikely sibling duo.
