Sky Atlantic seems to have a winning series on their hands, the latest drama series ‘Gang’s of London’ starring Peaky Blinders’ Joe Cole has hit the ground running with the second biggest original drama launch of all time.

The series from ‘The Raid’ filmmaker Gareth Evans, launched to much critical acclaim. Set in the heart of one of the world’s most dynamic and multicultural cities. It tells the story of a city being torn apart by the turbulent power struggles of the international gangs that control it and the sudden power vacuum that’s created when the head of London’s most powerful crime family is assassinated.

Over the first 7 days of it’s launch a record 2.23 million viewers tuned in for the opening episode. It has since gone on to become Sky’s most binged show this year with 997k choosing to watch to the ninth and final episode of the series within two weeks, and which has already increased to 1.26m as the series pushes into its third week. There have been over 16.6m downloads across the series so far.
