When heroes alone are not enough…the world needs legends. In DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known? As you can see, both The Arrow and The Flash will also appear.

The series has been described as a 13-part movie, and the plan is for it to debut early next year. It’s hard to say how much of the footage here was shot specifically for the teaser, but the fact that The Atom finally shrinks will come as welcome news to fans who impatiently waited for that to happen in Arrow this year.

The series stars Victor Garber (The Flash), Brandon Routh (Superman Returns), Arthur Darvill (Doctor Who), Caity Lotz (Arrow), Ciarra Renee (Pippin), Franz Drameh (Edge of Tomorrow), with Dominic Purcell (The Flash) and Wentworth Miller (Prison Break). Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, and Sarah Schechter are all executive producing DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, so the behind the scene team is also great.
