Harry Potter and the Cursed Child previews have started in London, and as you might expect, fans are loving the play so far. However, it’s going to be those first reviews which are most interesting, but with the show sold out until well into 2017, don’t be surprised to see this tale adapted for the big screen somewhere down the line regardless of how good or bad it is.

Set nearly twenty years after the events of The Deathly Hallows, The Cursed Child revolves around the children of the characters from the original series, and a first look at Rose Granger-Weasley surrounded by Hogwarts students and staff has been revealed today.

If you’re wondering why the house logos look different, it’s because this play is being made without the involvement of Warner Bros., the studio responsible for the Harry Potter movies and the upcoming J.K. Rowling penned spinoff, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Also below is a video from the author as she implores fans to “keep the secrets” of the play and not spoil it for those who have some time to wait before being able to see it for themselves. Of course, with the internet being as it is, that’s much easier said than done.
