Thanks to EW a few first look images have surfaced giving our first look of the hotly anticipated Matthew Vaughn directed, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, a film in which has been shrouded in secrecy with its fans being drip feed mysterious posters that give absolutely nothing away.

In the newly released images we get to see golden boy, Taron Egerton as Eggsy, suited and booted in a red velvet suit, Jeff Bridges looking grumpy and serious as the Head Statesman, Halle Berry as ginger donning the geeky glasses look and Channing Tatum taking serious cowboy to a new level and even though it hasn’t been confirmed if Colin Firth is returning we can guess he probably is if you look close enough at the blurred out image in the background of Tatum’s image.

Colin Firth stated last year that “I’ve read the rumours, but I can’t reveal if I’m even in this film”

Mark Strong told EW “I quite like playing the tech nerd who can handle himself in a conflict situation,” Strong says. “But what I really like about this second film is that Merlin meets Halle Berry’s character, who plays his equivalent role in the Statesmen. And she had her clipboard and her glasses, just like Merlin. And what happens when two tech nerds come together?” Strong teases, “Might there be some geeky love?”

Egerton, who joined the cast of the first movie as a newcomer to a movie set went on to say “For the first one, I felt like if I wasn’t really good then it wouldn’t work. This time, the story still unfolds through my eyes but this is still a true ensemble piece. And also, I’ve had a bit more experience. I’m not asking the crew what every piece of camera equipment does.”

Joining the returning cast of Egerton and Strong (and most certainly Firth) is Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry, and Game of Thrones‘ Pedro Pascal appearing as members of the Statesman, America’s Kingsman equivalent. Julianne Moore also costars as a Martha Stewart-ish global entrepreneur named Poppy and Elton John pops up as a “Vaughn-ized” (per the director) version of himself.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle Synopsis

With their headquarters destroyed and the world held hostage, members of Kingsman find new allies when they discover a spy organisation in the United States known as Statesman. In an adventure that tests their strength and wits, the elite secret agents from both sides of the pond band together to battle a ruthless enemy and save the day, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy.
