Apple TV has unveiled the first-look images for the highly anticipated second season of its acclaimed German-language dark comedy ‘Where’s Wanda?,’ while also confirming that the hit mystery series will return globally on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
The eight-episode sophomore season will debut with its first episode on October 21, followed by a new episode every Wednesday through December 9, 2026, exclusively on Apple TV.
Season two sees the Klatt family plunged back into chaos just when life appears to be settling down.
Believing the worst is finally behind them, parents Dedo and Carlotta Klatt, played by Heike Makatsch (Love Actually) and Axel Stein (The Vault), are shocked when their daughter Wanda (Lea Drinda) is discovered apparently standing over a dead body.

Determined not to lose their daughter again, the family launches another desperate investigation, this time venturing deep into the criminal underworld hidden beneath their seemingly peaceful suburban community.
As secrets unravel and danger closes in, the Klatts must discover who really committed the murder before it’s too late. But their relentless pursuit of the truth could ultimately place the entire family in even greater jeopardy.
Season two reunites the series’ core cast, with International Emmy Award nominee Heike Makatsch (Love Actually) and German Comedy Award winner Axel Stein (The Vault) returning as the Klatt parents alongside multiple award-winning actress Lea Drinda (The Gryphon) as Wanda. Leo Simon and Nikeata Thompson (Späti) also reprise their roles.
The new season is created, written and executive produced by Oliver Lansley (Flack), who returns alongside executive producers Nataly Kudiabor (Arthur’s Law) and Oliver Ossege (Helgoland 513).
The series was co-created from a story by Zoltan Spirandelli (Vaya con Dios) and is directed by acclaimed filmmakers Tobi Baumann (Faking Hitler) and Christian Ditter (How To Be Single).
